Africa Climate Innovation Series

Per Africa: The Big Deal, approximately 35% of funding in Africa was directed toward climate tech startups, in Q3 2024.

With over half a billion invested in climate-focused African ventures so far this year, in the first episode, we explore why Africa is an exciting and competitive market for climate innovators & investors today?  And, how can the venture studio model help Founders - and our investor and corporate partners - achieve pan-African scale, profit, exits, and impact?

Join James Mwangi from Africa Climate VenturesMaxime Bayen from Catalyst Fund, and Lyndsay Holley Handler from Delta40 Venture Studio dive into how their hands-on, venture-building approach supports climate-focused founders across Africa and why this model works where traditional funding structures fall short.

But this is just the beginning. Future episodes will feature inspiring African and Female entrepreneurs building ventures in key sectors such as energy, agriculture, transportation, and the built environment.  And - to break out of the cycle of endless panel discussions - each episode will include tangible opportunities for listeners to get involved.
